AKWAABA! WELCOME!
OUR CULTURE IS OUR CURE
The Liberated Minds Black Homeschool and Education Institute assists Black parents in using homeschooling to guide their children to a life of power, where they are academically excellent, confident, enthusiastic, and driven in their life’s divine purpose while carrying them on a road of abundance, awesome health, Black ownership, financial wealth, and a spiritually grounded and unshakable self-identity that’s rooted in the greatness and legacy of our culture.
OUR IMPACT
Liberated Minds is an educational empire forging a new reality for an exponentially growing population of Black homeschoolers, and/or progressive parents and educators, who recognize their critical role as first teachers. Since the birth of this organization in 2012, we have become the global leader in Black homeschooling, while pioneering a movement in the U.S. by providing Afrikan-centered training, resources, and a functional network of community families, as well as building an institution with the necessary infrastructure to meet the intricate needs of Afrikan people throughout the diaspora. And now with the pandemic, numbers continue to soar aggressively as parents seek viable solutions to LIBERATE and DECOLONIZE the minds of our children and families.
Liberated Minds provides a tapestry of culturally rich educational events, conferences, forums, and enrichment, such as Homeschool HUEniversity, which is our International Virtual Campus. Other offerings include The Roots to Fruits Homeschool & Cultural Collective, The Liberated Minds Black Homeschool & Education Magazine and the LiberatedMinds Black Educational Resource Directory App (available on Apple & Google), The Children’s Afrikan Ball, The Children of The Sun Fun Fest, The Watoto Kwanzaa Jamboree, Brunch By The Baobab Tree, The Children’s Afrikan Cinema, Indigo Vibes Yoga, The Brown Baby Soul Lounge, and the signature gathering, The Liberated Minds Black Homeschool and Education Expo that draws thousands of Black people from all over the US and around the world featuring hundreds of Black scholars, homeschoolers and educators.
The Liberated Minds Network also serves as a crucial support system with 25+ years of experience, 50,000+ happy families, and a host of active programs and partners. We also offer a plethora of dynamic resources such as cultural books, curriculum materials, community outreach, and educational resources throughout the Afrikan diaspora (around the globe).
VICTORIOUS!
